Passive Income Sharing

Updated:  at  12:00 PM

Introduction

In China, ISPs don’t allow running PCDN. However, for extremely low-usage PCDN-like projects, ISPs might not be able to detect them.

Here I’m sharing two channels I’ve personally tested that allow sharing unused bandwidth for some rewards.

Projects

TraffMonetizer

This is a platform introduced in many places. The main feature is that it works on all networks, including datacenter IPs.

The software can run on Windows, MacOS, Android, or Docker.

After registering on the official website, you’ll get a token to enter into your installed software.

The specific reward is about $0.1 per 1GB of data shared, but I don’t know why my server runs this very slowly, not even 100MB in a day, so the income is quite low.

Given such slow data sharing speed, this software won’t cause any bandwidth burden.

Also, this software has extremely low system usage, negligible.

After earning a total of $10, you can get a payment. Payment method is USDT, you can choose Solana, Ton, Tron TRC20, and Arbitrum chains. The platform covers the transaction fee.

Honeygain

This is also a platform introduced in many places, but this one can’t be used for datacenter IPs.

The software can run on Windows, MacOS, Android, or Docker.

First register on the official website, then log in to the software.

After logging in, I recommend changing the payment method to JumpTask for a 10% bonus and extremely low withdrawal threshold. You can change this at the top of the official website, and it’s also visible in the mobile app. JumpTask requires binding a cryptocurrency wallet to receive coins.

The earnings are about 0.05 credits/MB, 1000 credits is 1,sothats1, so that's 0.05 per 1GB of data. However, the desktop software can also do content delivery, which earns based on running time and has higher earnings, but I’ve been queuing for a long time and it still hasn’t started, so basically you can ignore its effectiveness in China. Currently I have two machines, one using mobile data and one using home WiFi, earning about a few credits to over ten credits per day.

Additionally, the platform provides some extra rewards, like sharing 1MB daily can get a daily reward, usually 5 credits to tens of credits.

Overall, the income from this is very unstable, which might also be related to my network environment.

If using Honeygain wallet, the default payment, you need to reach 20beforepayment,viaPayPal.UsingJumpTaskwalletonlyrequires0.5JMPTtowithdraw,about20 before payment, via PayPal. Using JumpTask wallet only requires 0.5 JMPT to withdraw, about 0.3, or 300 credits, which is much easier.

Summary

Both projects are ones I’ve personally tested and work, but obviously, the income is very low. If you can run multiple machines, there’s still something to it.

TraffMonetizer is suitable for people with multiple IPs, like those who bought a bunch of small VPSs. The main advantage is higher earnings and works on any network.

Honeygain requires residential IP, and the earnings are hit or miss. If you’re lucky, it’s higher than the other one. The main advantage is easy withdrawal.

Both projects have their advantages. My suggestion is to run both together, there’s no impact anyway. Making money through this doesn’t seem very meaningful, it’s more about utilizing idle resources.

If you know of better platforms, feel free to recommend them in the comments.
